Gaston,
You left all of us way too soon. You will always remain in our hearts, and we will always remember your kind deeds and fatherly advise. We have such good memories of your visits, and the card games when you would come to visit.

You were a good husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and a family member we loved very much. We will miss your kind and gentle manner.

Our hearts are broken, but we take comfort in knowing that you are up there in God's great heaven.

Dear Dad, you will be missed so much. I will always cherish our time together, all your love and support through the years have made us who we are today and I am Proud to be your daughter. You were the BEST father in the world and now you will be my guardian angel. Thank you for being my strength, your kind heart, your warm smile, your endless love and your strong hands are what I will miss the most. I want to share a poem that your grandson Cedric wrote. It says it all.

"My Faith Is In My Family"
written by Cedric Baker

My faith is in my family,
They are always there for me,
Whatever the time!
When the skies above turn grey,
They’re there to save the day.
I know I’ll be okay.
They have brought the sunshine…

They are the perfect team
To help achieve my dreams,
Modest and bold.
They persistently love,
Whatever be my mood.
They watch me from above,
Having accomplished their goal.

Until we meet again,
Love Forever, you daughter Carol, Charlie, Cedric and Chandler
